Without going too deep into biomechanics...Assuming your supporting foot is turned out, the pelvis is lifted on the kicking side. To make it a hip flexion with a tilted pelvis the chamber has to be 45 degrees. This is most efficient, utilizing the strongest muscle groups. That's the short answer. |
