I don't think she tasted it, but at least she didn't act like it was nasty like so many other talk show hosts do when they taste a green smoothie. I mean, she suggested it would be nasty, but she didn't gag when she pretended to taste it, which is better than how most talk show people react.

That lady is obnoxious. The smoothie is great though. Why do green smoothies get so little respect in the media? Food for goats? Come on lady! :)

With all due respect, that is pretty narrow minded thinking. Having a virus infection forces your body to heat itself up too and use more energy but it's not exactly good for you. This is the same type of thinking that goes into saying things like soy is good for you because it does this and has that. Ah ya, but the harmful things in it do you more harm then the good things do you good. You need to see things a little more holistically, we are not robots with isolated parts and systems.

I don't care what's in the blender, it's never good for you to drink ice cold things. It paralyzes your stomach to a degree and is cumulatively bad for your digestion to do this on a regular basis because our bodies are not biologically made for consuming ice cold things. Think about it, before refrigeration who consumed ice cold things regularly. It's common sense like not eating late.
