Haven't used my Mini in about two years. I plugged it into my computer, and the "Low Battery" picture came on. Then, after a couple minutes, the "Apple" logo came on. Then, the screen just went blank. Still blank. New battery time? Please help thanks!

hi,my mini wont turn on or charge,my mate said to plug it in to my comp for 30 mins then it should turn on but it hasnt so does it need a new battery?

Go up to eBay. I just did this procedure this afternoon. The battery cost me about $6.50 shipped with the two screwdrivers. Took 10 minutes having never done it before.

I bought an ipod mini at a flea market and the guy was generous enough to give me a battery charger with it.
