I may be wrong - but I think Paul wrote and the two of them were performing this song long BEFORE there WAS a Captain Picard. Maybe Trek (the earlier) (with Spock and Scotty and them) was around, Call me paranoid, but I have a hunch you're playing with me. Maybe, somewhere, there is a collection of Paul Simon librettos (libretti?) that would settle this. |
